Sometimes, things just work.
Sometimes, things just work. Like the archives on this page, which I have fixed and updated, they now just work.
Like, when you go ahead and make the calls that you've postponed forever, and you get well received and end up with a lunch appointment sooner than you thought you would.
Last Thanksgiving, when I was home visiting my family, I saw the first girl I ever really had a crush on. Ten years later, she's married and has a child, and I'm still struggling to become a lawyer. I wrote a short story about it, and it's been published at Crush, today.
I had dinner with MAtt Dujnic, chatted about getting a sign photo with Catherine, and have made plans for a good portion of the week, including another night of drunken mayhem (well, I'll bring the mayhem and they'll be the drunks) with the El Conquistadors, the cutest boy band this side of Milli Vanilli.
I've also gotten a gig writing about downtown nightlife, with an interesting new angle, updates on that when I've got a corpus up.
For now, I'm tired, and thus I have to ask you: tell me about a crush you've had.
