RIP, Old Friend
RIP Randy.
Randy Fordyce died at the age of 58 of emphysema after a lifetime of smoking and being a musician in New York City. Randy died peacefully in his sleep. Rest in peace, friend. And thanks for all of your advice and insight.

I just googled Randy Fordyce and found this. His brother Richard had called me. I'm Randy's "widow," I guess. We were common-law married since the mid-'60s and had spent a total of 23 years together split by 10 years when he was married to Anne in Houston. We had not been in touch for 8 years after parting on not the best of terms; Richard and I have spoken several times in the past year or two. How did you know Randy and where?
