Matrix

I saw the Matrix tonight. 10pm showing, bought my tickets a week ago.

It was... in a word - awful.

Insipid plot, the fight scenes tried too hard, it was predictable except the parts that were nonsequiturs and whoever wrote the dialogue needs a frontal lobotomy.

And whoever did the soundtrack? They totally and completely ruined the movie.

What were your feelings on the first one? I mean, no one would go and say that the dialogue in the first one was inspired genious or anything, but as an action movie I thoroughly dug it.
