Wall Street Regent
Drinks after work with David Griffin and his friend Miranda. Woefully overpriced drinks, but they've got to pay for the amazing service (which was truly good) and the grand ballroom (quite a space!) and the ambience.
It was, with the exception of two executive looking guys, just us up on the balcony, overlooking Wall Street. The night air had a chill, so we eventually went inside, which was also quite nicely appointed.
There are a surprising number of those old-money New York bars around. I like the idea of exploring them.
