Board meeting and dinner with Marcos
Quiet day at work followed by Vassar Club board meeting and dinner with Marcos.
After the board meeting, I had a conversation with one of our older members, another attorney, about my current career path. It as enlightening. Gave me pause and made me think about the mentors I've had in my life. More on that another day.
Dinner with Marcos was at Republic at Union Square. About halfway through the meal I found myself nearly passing out I was so tired. The Shrimp wrapped in coconut and noodles was excellent, the duck soup, not as good.
We talked about some of the issues I'm grappling with right now, and ways in which we could help each other out. It was... can you call dinner with a friend productive? If so, then it was productive.
I don't have anything to report about it, though. Just that it happened.
