Social Networks
Since Friendster has mostly died, other services have come in and are attempting to replace it as the premier social networking engines. I did hear a rumor that based on the influx of seed capital, Friendster is getting some new servers and better code, and won't be so damn slow to load anymore, soon.
And maybe, just maybe, I'll stop getting so many people from the Phillipines trying to be my friend. What the hell is that about?
I'm on Orkut (which is hard to use but run by google which means it's gotta get better, right, and is invitation only) Myspace (which I like) and Tribe.net (which I like but suffers from Friendsteresque loadtimes.
I'm also on Linkedin, which I think is the most interesting and useful of the services, as it's about career and gaining clients and so forth.
If you're on any of those services, and you'd like to join me, my name is always Jonathan Swerdloff.
