Somehow, I missed Plug Lo Interactive day. Maybe it was my guilt over missing the el conquistadors show even though it's dingo's birthday. Maybe it's that the ringing in my ear is noticably worse today. Or maybe it's that I wasn't home or in an office all day, such that I didn't really surf. Either way, I've got a few things to say.

First off, I'm going to be moving this site. I'm still not sure where, it'll be somewhere in the swerdloff chain, but the move will be soon. You'll get notice of the move if you subscribe to the mailing list. I'm actually working on a whole set of changes around here. This site will stay the same, but I'm also going to start a blog on the side (they're just so cute and really, it's hard being the last kid on my block without one) and an avantgo channel (thanks to chris @ tangled), which will give you the ability to read this site on the road, skip the page entirely, and still post. How cool would you be then? "What are you reading on the subway?" "Oh, Swerdloff dot Com." "Really? What's that?" Which is a perfect excuse for you to strike up a conversation with the hot boy or girl who has just said that to you. You could regale him or her with funny anecdotes from my past, entertaining stories about young beautiful people, and then you'll have to beam him/her your business card so that you can tell him or her what the URL is of this page, and then when the two of you get married, I expect to be invited as an honored guest, but if you just have an illicit sexual encounter, I only require video footage. A small price to pay for mutually acheived orgasms, I would say.

I stopped at the Penn club today, and it's about three weeks since I was there last. The doorman asked me if everything was alright, as he hadn't seen me in a long time. I took that as a good sign, got his name, and gave him mine. Very neat. I like that space, I never remember why I don't go there more often.

Officially, I'm sorry I didn't go to the show, but I'm feeling under the weather, and spent the time doing research for a project I'm doing. Things that may bring in cash are the sort of things that take precedence over my going and seeing my boys play. Pity.

And in a very 2001 move, Ethan just called my cellular telephone in order for me to email Perren's Web-based phone messaging system. Can we say "this shit needs to become transparent before it will be useful? WAP is not ripe yet?" Good. I knew we could. M-commerce is a nifty feature, but so are butt heaters in my Mom's old Mercedes, and frankly I can live without both of them.

Which is a pity, because M-Commerce has a lot more possible applications than the straight up web-browser Internet, we're just not there yet. I'd love to work in that sector for a few years, though. I've got some ideas that could be profitable. We'll see. This being a lawyer thing is pretty great too. Complex decisions.

The photos of Dakota's birthday are up. [Random side notes: Who Is Hottest? Out of work? Sign up for Elance]

My birthday is 69 days from now.

How do you smell?
